The thirsty crow
Once there lived a crow in a small town on a Neem tree along
with his wife crow and four children crow. One day the father crow went out in
search of food. While searching for food the crow felt thirsty. Since it was
hot summer all the small ponds, lakes and water tanks where empty.
The crow was trying harder to find the water. Soon he found a house where there was a small pot lying under a tree. He felt happy by seeing the pot and immediately flew near it. He saw that the water was at the bottom of the pot. He tried to drink it but couldn't since, its beak could not reach the water at the bottom and felt sad. First he thought of turning out the pot so that when the water fell down on the ground he could at least drink some water. It tried harder to turn the pot but the weight of the pot was so heavy that it couldn't do it. It almost lost hope.

Then he looked in and around his vicinity, there he found few
pebbles at the corner of the house. Soon he got an idea and implemented it. He
bought the pebbles one by one and dropped into the pot and the water started
coming up as soon as all the pebbles are dropped into, the water reached up and
the crow drank the water and quenched its thirst.
Here, from this story we can observe that if we try hard and
put 100% effort we can achieve anything. Here if the crow had not tried harder
it would not have quenched his thirst.
So, people we have to try harder until we succeed in any
work. From this we can also learn that necessity makes us think and invent something
new.
