Ramayana stories - Sacrifice life for others

Ravana has played a trick of sending Maricha in the form of Maya golden deer. Seeing this sita asked Rama to get that Maya golden deer. So, Rama wants to fulfill her wish and said Laxmana to look after sita and left the place to chase the golden deer. After a while laxmana and sita heard the voice of Rama calling them. Sita insists laxmana to go and rescue his brother. So, laxmana drew’s a line with his arrow and says sita not to cross the line till they come back. Sita agrees for this and laxmana leaves the place immediately.

Seeing this Ravana who was watching the entire scene from behind the tree enters the situation disguising as hermit and comes near sita’s hut and asks for alms. Seeing him sita goes in and gets some fruits to offer the hermit. She offers the alms from a distance. Seeing this hermit becomes angry and starts scolding sita. So, sita comes out of the line to offer the alms to the hermit. Once she crossed the line Hermit transformed into his original form i.e. Ravana. Seeing him sita fell out of giddiness. Then Ravana took the area where sita felldown and carried her in his chariot. Sita asks for helps then the eagle named jatayu tires to rescue sita from Ravana and attacks him with its sharp beak. But ravana took out this sword and cuts one of the wings of Jatagu then it fell down on the ground. When Rama and Laxmana came to know the trick played by some demon they came near their home for sita. They have seen in the vicinity but they din’t find sita there. They went into the jungle in search of sita while searching they found jatayu in a stage to die and at last conveys the message to Rama about sita and dies. Then Rama and Laxmana prayed for its soul for scarifying his life while rescuing sita.

The Ravana who had done fraud and kidnapped sita, at last comes to know that it was Maya sita. The sita (bhakti) cannot be achieved by deception. Anyone who wants to win bhakti should not be greedy and violence.

From this we can also say that any women who are in danger should be helped by the people but should not leave them alone. Here Jatayu sacrificed its life in saving sita from Ravana.
We also have learnt that scarifying the life for other is remembered by everyone in the world.

Ramayana stories - Respect for father words

Lord Rama was sent to forest for 14 years as one of the boon granted by dasaratha to kaikeyi as she saved his life in the battlefield. Rama has right to ask for the injustice done to him but he haven’t asked a word to his father. He just did whatever is said by his father. A day before his coronation he was sent to forest. But he hasn’t showed any disappointment on his face in turn accepted both the demands. This shows his love towards his parents and affection for his brother.  Even Dasarath had great love and affection towards Rama as a sign of this he left his last breath when Rama left to the forest. From this lesson we can see how Rama had respected the words of his father. Just he followed his father words without giving any back answer to him. Now-a-days, most of the people are not even giving value to their parent’s words. Even they are sending them to old age home when they become old. From this lesson we can learn how to respect our father and his words.

Once there lived in a farmer along with his wife and five sons in a village named Rampur.   He used to earn his daily lively by working in brick company. He is a hardworking, kind and generous person.Due to his generosity he is respected by every person in that village. But he is always concerned about his sons.
