An iron bar ate by rats

Once there lived a rich merchant name ramu in a small town. He is very successful in all his business. As everything was going good suddenly he suffered a huge loss in his business and lost everything he earned. He sold all his household things for his daily livelihood; nobody in the town had helped him. So he decided to go to other town in search of better living for few months.

He went near his friend and asked him to keep the iron bar which was left with him with his friend named somu till he return. His friend accepted to keep it with him

So he went to other town and he worked hard and earned lots of money and returned back to his home town. After returning he directly went near his friend to collect his iron bar.

Ramu went near his friend he greeted him and asked his well wishes.

By seeing Ramu somu said, oh! Friend I am really happy to see you after long time. I think you have again became a rich merchant

Yes friend by the grace of God replied Ramu and asked him to return to his iron bar

Somu replied, Oh! Friend I have kept your iron bar in my go-down but unfortunately few months back when I went to see you iron bar I saw that rats have eaten away it.

What how can rats eat the iron bar?

Yes friend now-a-days the rats of this town had become so strong that they can even eat iron bar
By listening to these word ramu was very angry but controlled his anger and thought of teaching a lesson to his friend somu.

Oh! Friend what can you do if rats had eaten away my iron bar. Leave it. Can you send your son along with me to help me out in carrying this luggage?

Oh sure my friend?  It’s my pleasure.

Somu said, my son, go with this uncle and help him in carrying his luggage till his home
His son replied, ok father

They both started walking towards ramu’s home and on the way to their home they found a big cave. Ramu said, son where did this cave come from?  I haven’t seen it before

Let’s go into the cave and see what’s inside the cave said Ramu

He accepted and both went inside. After a while ramu along came out of the cave and had seen in and around the vicinity for a big rock. He closed the mouth of the cave with the rock and came back to his friend

His friend somu asked, Oh! Friend where is my son? Why did you come alone? Why din’t you bring him along with you?

Then ramu with sad face replied, oh! Friends when we were going towards my home a parrot had flew down and picked your son and flew away

What ridiculous are you speaking my friend? How can a parrot take away my son, he is so heavy and strong.

Yes friend now-a-days the parrot of this town had become so strong that they can carry huge weights with their beaks

Oh! Don’t tell me all these stories, return my son back otherwise I will take you to the judge
Sure friends lets go the judge? I am innocent. So they both walked towards the judge home.

Somu complaint to the judge that ,Sir this man is a kidnapper he had kidnapped my 5 years old son please tell him to return my son back

Judge: oh! Man if you have abducted his son, I insist you to return his son back
Oh! My lord I cannot because I haven’t kidnapped his son a parrot have taken away his son while we were walking towards my home

Think before your say anything. Anyone here can say that you are lying. How can a parrot pick 5 years old boy with its beak?

That’s what I am asking him my lord; he is lying

Oh! Friend, If the rats can eat the iron bar then why can’t the parrot take away your son?

Oh! Wait what is the story of rats eating iron bar? Be clear. Tell me in detail asked the Judge.

Then Ramu had narrated the entire story of what had happened. After listening to the entire story the judge started laughing continuously and burst out of laughing

And asked somu now what do you say for this? I am really sorry my lord I will return his iron bar immediately.

Go soon and return him his iron bar then only he will return your son said the judge

Then Ramu thanked the Judge for giving the justice and left the place

Then Ramu got his iron bar and somu felt ashamed of cheating his friend and asked him to forgive for this. Ramu a kind hearted person had accepted the apologizes and forgave his friend for his mistake

If you try to cheat other, others will also cheat you. What you sow so shall you reap.
